The Atlas Mountains

Covering a large stretch across the Northwest of Africa is the Atlas Mountain range which can be separated into four distinct regions and is home to unique wildlife.

Explore the culture of its residents, the Berbers, living a peaceful life in the high altitudes.

Discover plant species only found in these parts of Africa and bring a camera for a few images to look back on!

Sahara Desert

Cross the sandy Sahara, which occupies most of North Africa, in 4x4 vehicles for an adventurous journey over dunes and naturally formed rocky features.

Feel the warmth and see vast open areas ready to be explored, with rich flora and oases where camels and goats are brought for water. Find a spot of shade and let a mirage become visible whilst you rest in the company of the Berber people.

One of the oldest and largest cities in Morocco that comprises an old Medina amongst modern villages. Visit the Djemaa el Fna for a lively atmosphere of entertaining music, dancing, stories and acrobatics in one of the largest open squares in the world. Places of interest include the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Agdal and Menara Gardens and lovely details of the Bab Agnaou City Gate. Marrakesh is to put simply, a colourful and inspiring place to see the sun set and stars come out.

Day 1 Arriving at the Airport

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the riad/hotel.

Day 2 Marrakesh-Ouarzazate

Zbartravel pick you up at your riad in Marrakech after breakfast at 8.30 am, and with 4x4 we travel over the stunning Tiz’n Tichka (2.260) with spectacular scenery, Berber villages and ever-changing landscape along the way. We continue a small road via the old Glaoui Kasbah Telouet, and you will pass close to small Berber villages on the way to Ait Ben Haddou. Here you visit the magnificent 12th century Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – a UNESCO World heritage site. You will be accompanied by a local guide. Until arriving to the riad.

Day 3 Ouarzazate-Erg Chegaga

Depart from your riadl in Ouarzazate after breakfast and start the Journey. We go with 4x4 through the beautiful Valle de Draa with a lot of oasis, palms and small villages. After arriving Zagora the trip continue On the way we will stop at the pottery and old Kasbah in Tamegrout before arriving M'hamid at lunchtime.After a short break you continue with 4x4 into desert, passing small dunes, areas with tamarisk trees and hammada – and to the high dunes of Chegaga. Here you can find your sand boards and use the afternoon sand boarding in the dunes – and also enjoy the nice sunset over the desert. When the evening comes you will have dinner the nomad way and also local nomad drums and son. Sleep in nomad tent in the bivouac.

Day 4 Erg Chegaga

After the breakfast you have camel trekking On the trip you can see the change in nature. We arrives an oasis where it is time to have a break and a good lunch. After a relaxing time in the oasis we continue to the high dunes of Chegaga, 300 m high and 40 km length. When the evening come its dinner the nomad way and sleep in our comfortable nomad tents in the bivouac at the dunes.

Day 5 Erg Chegaga-Forum Zguid

After breakfast the trip continue crossing desert via the old Paris-Dakar-route and the dry Lake Iriqi to Foum Zguid. Here you have lunch you can have swimming pool and relaxing and rest of day is for you.

Day 6 Forum Zguid - Marrakech

Depart with 4x4 from your riad passing the stunning Tiz’n Tichka (2.260 mtrs) with spectacular scenery, Berber villages and ever-changing landscape along the way. There will be lunch when passing the highest peak of Tiscka. arrive in Marrakesh late afternoon.

Day 7 Marrakesh

After a good breakfast, we will pick you up for a 2-hour guided visit to the Medina and Marrakesh Market before leaving for the Bahia Palace and the Majorelle Gardens. It's lunch time and we'll guide you to find a good place for lunch. After lunch, you can perhaps try a relaxing experience at the SPA/Hammam. And the rest of the afternoon is for you.

Day 8 Transfer to airport

After breakfast we say goodbye transfer to the airport
