Our customers join us from all walks of life. We have found that people choose to travel solo for many reasons, but appreciate the communal ambiance created by the Singles Horizons concept. Our guests can be single, separated, divorced, widowed or simply unable to co-ordinate holidays with family and friends. We always endeavor to balance numbers, genders and ages within each group, but naturally, we can never guarantee a particular mix of people.

WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE OF PEOPLE TRAVELLING ON HOLIDAY?
Arrange specific holidays for singles who want to match their age range and interests. We cater for single travellers from the ages of 39 to 79.
AGE - DOES IT MATTER?
Definitely not... We know from our experience that a cross section of ages offers the best mix for our groups, so you will have the opportunity to meet new friends across a wide range of ages. Our experienced travel advisers will guide you towards your perfect holiday dependent on age and interests.
WHAT IS THE AVERAGE GROUP SIZE?
The average group size is 8 but the numbers vary depending on time of the year and destination.
WHAT IS THE RATIO OF MEN TO WOMEN?
We do not manage the proportion of women to men on our solo holidays. The ratio varies, but is usually around three women to each man.
ARE YOU A DATING AGENCY?
No, we do not design our holiday packages to have any aspect of introduction or dating services. We offer holidays purely for single travellers who want to go it alone but do not want to spend their holiday on their own. Good friends do certainly result from our holidays.
FIRST TIME TRAVELLER?
We understand that going away on your own for the first time can be daunting, which is why becoming part of a group can help you feel more at ease. In the company of new friends, you can enjoy a different way of holidaying, safe in the knowledge that you are free to enjoy your own company or join others if you wish for exploration, dining, travel and fun.
I HAVE NEVER TRAVELLED ON MY OWN BEFORE !
Don't worry, more than half of our single customers have never booked on their own before, so you'll be amongst like minded people with something already in common.
WHEN WILL I MEET MY REPRESENTATIVE?
Your representative will meet you either at your resort or at your destination airport. Your representative will be available during your holiday to ensure everything runs smoothly and add that reassuring personal touch. Our friendly hosts are specially selected from the respective countries, as our experience has shown that their local knowledge and skills will add value to your holiday and also we are committed in supporting local tourism.
WILL I BE LEFT ON MY OWN?
Only if you choose to be. Our hosts are at hand to greet you at the airport at your holiday destination and arrange your ice breaker get together. On all our singles holidays we arrange meals together, offer advice on excursions and answer any questions. Of course there will be plenty of time and space for you to be alone whenever you choose.
CAN I EXTEND MY HOLIDAY?
If you would like to extend your holiday at the time of booking just ask and we can sometimes arrange this for you.
CAN I FLY FROM MY LOCAL AIRPORT
To make your travel easier, we endeavor if available to offer direct flights to a selection of our destinations at a supplement. Or we can arrange regional connection to major airports.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Payment of your holiday can be made by Debit or Credit card over the phone or online. No surcharge is levied on Credit cards, Debit cards, Delta, Visa Debit, Master Debit, Solo and Electron cards.
DO I HAVE TO SHARE A BEDROOM?
No, we recognise that people have the right to travel without the burden of additional supplement costs, which is why we make no single supplement charges and we do not ask or expect you to share a room with one of your companions unless you decide to.
DO YOU CHARGE A SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT?
No. Our prices are based on sole occupancy with no single supplement.
CAN TWO PEOPLE TRAVEL TOGETHER?
Although the vast majority of our customers travel alone, some people who have recently become alone or solo and are not ready to go alone do travel with a friend.
CAN I PRE-BOOK MY SEATS ON THE AIRCRAFT?
Yes, you can pre book your seats on the aircraft for a supplement, please advise at the time of booking.
IF I HAVE A SPECIAL REQUEST?
If you have a special request this must be made at the time of booking over the telephone or online booking. Please be advised certain request are subject to supplement for e.g: Pre bookable seats, Extra legroom seats, Pool / Sea view rooms. Special dietary request must be notified at the time of booking and vegetarian diet, gluten free diet can be catered on all our holidays. All special request must be notified at the time of booking and appropriate supplement if applicable must be paid to guarantee the service.
HOW MUCH DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK THE HOLIDAY?
You can secure your booking by paying £100 deposit for UK holidays, £200 for European holidays & £500 for Worldwide holidays anytime up to 10 weeks prior to departure.
IF THERE IS A MISTAKE IN MY CONFIRMATION, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Telephone quoting your booking reference number immediately on receipt of email invoice. Once confirmed and invoiced, any changes by you to your details or holiday arrangements will incur an administration fee of £35.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?
Your Electronic tickets and final travel details will be issued approximately 7-10 days prior to departure.
CAN I CANCEL MY HOLIDAY?
Yes you can. Please advise us by telephone immediately and also in writing. If you cancel you will be liable to pay cancellation fees detailed in our Booking Conditions.
